Symantec Mobile Security Virus Definition *April 19/2006*

I might suggest you to disable your symantec first before applying the update.

Inside this zip archive you will find another 2 files (savce.def & script.dis)

You should copy only this files to c:\system\apps\symcs (overwrite them)

never download the updates using the liveupdate straight over an GPRS connection. If u do so u may not be able to switch on ur phone if ever u switched it off. U will have format it.
So I advise u to use the LUDownloader utility from Symantec which I have posted earlier. It also contains a text file which tells u how to use this utility to download the virus defonition updates onto ur PC.
Then u have to copy these files to ur phone using bluetooth or any other means of comm. between ur phone and the PC. The procdure for updating the virus definitions is given in complete details by Adeeb in one of his posts, just search a little and u will find everything.
