Psiloc.total.irremote.v1.72.s60.symbianos

this application is same as Psiloc IrRemote except that this one has a learning feature with which u can add new remotes.

Now you can have all the control in one hand!

All multimedia devices around your home are now controllable using your mobile phone - isn't that great?!

The TV, HiFi set, CD, VCR and DVD player can be all controlled by your handy! You will not have to fight with your family members for a remote control anymore - you can just use yours!
You will spare time and effort on looking for lost remote control for your CD player and you will still keep in touch with the SMSes from your friends while watching TV.

Now the PsilocTotal irRemote gives you great opportunity to customize application according to your own equipment needs. In other words you are able to teach application by importing new device definitions from external files. The application accepts files in Philips Pronto CCF and Linux Lirc formats. Moreover imported code definitions can be attached to any key on any layout!

Now Psiloc Total irRemote can control hundreds of brands and thousands of devices!!!
With this unique universal Remote Control you can define your own set of devices you want to use! Your new universal irRemote does not have to learn anything - you just choose your brand from the list, then select device type (TV, DVD, VCR, CD etc.) and it works!
And you only have to do it once - unless you buy a new DVD?

The list of supported brands is long and contains following manufactures and their compatibles: Admiral, Aiwa, Akai, Allsat, Anitech, Apex, Aristona, Avex, Barco, Blaupunkt, Bush, CCE, Crown, Cyberhome, Daewoo, Denon, Elemis, Elitron, Finlux, Funai, Galaxis, GoldStar, Grundig, Hitachi, ITT-Nokia, JVC, Kenwood, LG, Lifetec, Loewe, Magnavox, Manhattan, Marantz, Mark, Matsui, Meliconi, Mitsubishi, Nec, Nokia, Onkyo, Orava, Orion, Panasonic, Philips, Phonola, Pioneer, RCA, Portland, Rubin, Samsung, Salora, Sanyo, Schneider, SEG, Sharp, Sherwood, SKY-Digital, Sony, Synudyne, Technics, TechniSat, Tesla, Thomson, Tivo, Toshiba, UK-Digital, UK-OnDigital, Universum, Watson, Yamaha, Zenith

If your equipment does not work (or is not listed) you can "learn" Total irRemote!

Tip: large databases of codes compatible with Total irRemote can be found here: Philips Pronto CCF codes and here: Lirc database

To import codes to the application just send a CCF or Lirc file to your device via infrared, bluetooth or email. The file format will be automatically recognized and Psiloc irRemote will be automatically started.

After file processing (for big CCF files it can take a while) device, panel (if any) and command list will be presented. On the command list you are able to mark commands to import. Marked commands can be imported to existing devices or new one.

When you have imported all needed commands you can define your own layout. On the main screen please select "Select device" option and from presented dialog "User device" instead of any existing brand. Then please select one of supported layouts (depended on installed skins) for example "TV". Now you can attach any imported command of any imported device to any key.

I just have one question guys...
Why is it that this remote works for a few clicks only (about 5 clicks the most)? Anyone has experienced this?

thebestalways,
i have been using it for a long time, never experinced anything like it. no problems.
i think u r using a different version of the application which is unregistered coz only unregistered version has such an annoying feature of 5 clicks or something like this.

Actually the version I am referring to is ed v1.71 (irRemote and Total irRemote). I have used the demo versions and it worked better (for a few days). Demo version requires you to exit apps to make it work again but this ed version just won't work after a few clicks, no matter what you do (except uninstall/reinstall).

TheBestAlways,
remove the older version completely ( remember COMPLETELY) including all other psiloc softwares from that particular batch and install this one, it will work smoothly. if u want to install other applications from psiloc, take care not to install them from a different batch, nothing will work then. i have also posted other psiloc stuff from the same batch, search 4 them in the forum if u need them.

I tried to uninstall irRemote completely together with the eCommon apps but the previous settings of the previously installed irRemote was still there. Do you know what filename to delete?

TheBestAlways,
if u had all the psiloc stuff on MMC and if u r sure u have deleted everything from psiloc including all psiloc settings E:/System/Data then goto C:System/Data and delete irremote.ini and irRemoteSplash.mbm
hope this helps. if u still have problems, it means u have not done it correctly coz i never experienced anything like this after the first time.
