Streaming videos via WLAN to Nokia N95

does anybody have some experince with streaming videos via WIFI to a nokia N95?
I have got the experience that i can receive streams through GPRS/UMTS but not via WIFI. I always get a server time out or connection error.
hope somebody can solve this problem.
