But before finding this all out I had to find a way to get the signed!
First I tried the 'self signing' process by generating a certificate myself, signing the sis file with this certificate.

only to find out that the self signed sis file does not have the rights to access the phones files, directories, etc...

I tried to change this by defining a different UID in the application source code (which I had to extract from the sis file...) and redoing the complete self signing process again...

It still didn't work because the application didn't had the rights to do what it's supposed to do...

I went to symbian signed and tried to request a dev certificate which should solve all these issues and found out that you have to send an e-mail in order to get this certificate.

I haven't had a reply on this e-mail so I assumed I wasn't granted the luxury to have a dev certificate and went again to the site only to find out that the site was undergoing maintenance and I had to wait for at least 15 hours!

Finally today, the site is up again AND granting dev certificates again which is a huge relief because now I can sign the apps myself. What a struggle to just get an app signed!

I DL'd the app and checked for updates once I installed it. Then I went to my app manager and installed the DRM common for ver2.69. Then the the intaller ran and I got the app for free. Pretty sweet!!!!
