i have installed the tomtom app in my nokia n95 in the phone memory, also i have copied and pasted the chk files into the phone memory but when i open the tomtom app it only shows the tomtom screen and nothing happens

also i did not see any map file in the above download files

is it works on 3250?

can someone please tell me what im doing wrong?

do i have to install the files from the MMC.rar file to a memory card and the tomtom application to the memory card aswell,

also there is no map in the dowload,

somone please help

Working Great, I had 2 issues during install:

1) The SIS wouldn't install because I had the 6.01 version still intalled. Removing the old version manually before installing the new cured this problem

2) When starting the new TomTom, it would remain stuck in the spinning globe screen. Deleting the E:\TomTom folder (with the content from 6.01) and copying the new TomTom folder from the .RAR file fixed this issue. TomTom started fine after that.

And for all the people asking for the maps:
1) Do you really think the maps would fit in those three little rar files?
2) Get you maps somewhere else and copy them to your memorycard.

I currently have a P990i, but hopefully will have a N95 by the weekend. Anyway I had to do something like this when I installed it to the P990i.
1. Download the 3 x bin-3548 rar files.
2. Make sure you have winrar installed, if not download and install it.
3. Double click bin-3548.part1.rar. This will automatically join all three of the downloaded files together and extract the required folders.
4. Look where you extracted the files to and copy TomTom.Mobile.v6.02.S60v3.SymbianOS9.1.ed-.sis to you phone.
5. Goto the phone and install TomTom.Mobile.v6.02.S60v3.SymbianOS9.1.ed-.sis.
6. Go back to the place where you extracted the original files to and you should see a file called MMC.rar. Extract this file as you did with item 3.
7. Find the extracted folder (called tomtom) and copy it to the phone.
8. You now need to download you map from somewhere. Once you download the map this also needs to be copied to you memory card. The maps are not included in this download, so I think this may be were you going wrong.

If this explanation sounds as though I'm taking the mickey, I'm not, so please nobody take offence.

Nokia N95 Install step by step. Right People.
Firstly download the above file to your C Drive bin 3548.part1,2 and 3.rar.
Then with using Winrar you double click on the bin-3548 file
That should now leave you with 2 files.
MMC.rar and Tom Tom Mobile 6.sis file.
Firstly double click on the MMC.rar file, this should now give you Tom Tom file
Drag this file across to your phones Memory Card normally the E drive.
Now click om My Computer and then click on Nokia Phone Browser and then click on Nokia N95 and then on the phones C drive and then on data.
Drag the Tom Tom 6 moblile .sis file into this directory.
Just a note your phone should have a WDU Installer file there already so if the Tom Tom file looks like that one you are ok.
Now grab your phone.
Hit the blue info button
Go into Tools and then File Manager. Scroll down until you see the Tom.Tom.Mobile.v6.sis file and then install this file onto the phones directory. Not on the Memory card.
Once completed the Tom Tom icon should be in your phone in applications.
You need maps when you have a map just drag the map across to the Root of your memory card normally the E drive. If you don't understand any of that throw your N95 in the bin and buy a Sony Ericsson instead.
