.amr file format works..

I can beam .amr files at my T610 and it accepts them but I don't
think my conversion from .wav files works correctly - They get
scrambled. I'm using W2K and converting .wav's to 8Hz 16 bit mono
then using the Sony Ericsson tool to convert to .amr I then beam the
..amr via IR to my T610 which stores them in My Sounds. When I play
them they are either very quiet or garbled.

Has anyone else experimented with this type of file?
