Chat Messenger on T610

Is anyone successfully using C- Messenger, available at
http://www.j-e-t.net/t610/

I've never used messenger on my pc, so don't really understand exactly what
it's all about

I assume if me and a friend were both using it, we could send messages far
cheaper than text ?

They seem to do a specific T610 version
