The Forgotten Seven Week Ceasefire

I have been disgusted and angry as an American over the past few weeks as I
have watched with my own eyes as the so-called "liberal" media rewrote history
as it happened.

For seven weeks members of Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Alaqsa
Martyers Brigades respected a requested ceasefire from Prime Minister Abu
Abbas. During this time Israel complained again and again that they did not
want a ceasefire; they wanted Abu Abbas to arrest or kill the members of these
groups.

Not once did any major media outlet in America that engages in analysis of
events in the Mid East tell their readers of the strength of Hamas and the
other groups, and how the Israeli demand would provoke the death of Abu Abbas
and possibly kick off a civil war among the Palestinians.

The American people were never told this because that is Israel's goal, to get
the Palestinians to kill off their warrior class so that Israel will not have
to do it. Then Israel can increase their land grab for a number of years,
turning their trailer "outposts" into condominiums (paid for by the American
taxpayer who is never told of this welfare benefit to wealthy Jews).

Recently George Bush Jr., the appointed President, appointed a Jew Nazi to the
United States government's Mid East "peace" council (US Institute for Peace).

Daniel Pipes is so ethnocentric and rightwing that if he were not a Jew he
would be classified as more "extremist" than David Duke. Because he is a Jew
though Daniel Pipes is given the kind of respect accorded heads of state by
the "American" media.

The "American" media continue to describe Colin Powell as some kind of
"liberal" when in fact he is a thoroughly rightwing military general who has
always advocated a military philosophy of "overwhelming force", which is a
nice way of saying "don't go to war unless you can massacre the other side
without taking casualties". If this is what qualifies as "liberal" then it's
not hard to understand why the political establishment in America has no
problem with supporting the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians.

It's also worth noting that Colin Powell speaks Yiddish.

So Sunday has been yet another reevaluation of "where do we go from here?" in
the papers and on the Sunday morning news programs. In these reevaluations the
new history of the last few months does not include the seven week ceasefire
that was deliberately smashed by the Israelis. Instead the "road map" was
destroyed by a bus bombing (the kind of bombing that always seems to occur at
just the right time as Israel is most upset with peace negotiations actually
progressing).

How could the "American" media forget what just happened a few weeks ago?
Well, they had to forget right? I mean the only other conclusion is that the
media in America is supporting the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians.

That means that Peter Jennings is a genocidal murderer. As is Tom Brokaw, Dan
Rather, the Jewish Matt Lauer, and the Jewish Ted Koppel. Time Magazine,
Newsweek, the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and others
are all complicit in the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians.

Just this week I was flipping through the channels and saw Alan Dershowitz on
the Today Show pushing a book in which he was ridiculing and slandering those
who defended the Palestinians from the sheer genocidal terror of Israel. The
same Alan Dershowitz who made an appearance on "60 Minutes" last year
advocating that the "American" government engage in torture of prisoners.

Is there any other media anywhere in the world -other than Israel- that would
welcome such a loathsome creature as Alan Dershowitz on their national
television broadcasts?

David Duke is clearly "to the left" of Alan Dershowitz and he was not invited
on the Today Show to push his book.

So you see why the "American" media does not criticize the "American"
government for not recognizing the World Court or the authority of the United
Nations. Clearly the most prominent members of the "American" media understand
that they could be legitimately indicted and convicted of war crimes.

Such is the nature of forgetting about a seven week ceasefire just a few weeks
after Israel deliberately destroyed it, and the "road map", while the building
of new "settlements" continues.
