hangin keys R600

has anyone ever experienced the problem of hanging keys. When my Ericsson
R600 is just switched on the keys 1, 2 and 3 work normally but after about a
minute or so the three keys hang and do not function anymore. When using the
calculator I can see that they hang as the number 1, 2 or 3 is repeated all
the time?
any ideas what might be wrong or how to cure it.
Oh yes it might be worth mentioning that when I subsequently press the jog
button forward they are realised for one moment until you touch them again.
Could damp be a cause for this??
