Re: How to record conversations to digital voice recorder?

I posted the following note earlier this year. I have since found a
gizmo at RadioShack which does exactly what I want. It splits the
output of a my cell phone (with a modular connection that can work
with most any phone given a mini-jack output/adapter) so that one line
goes to a wired headset, and another line can be plugged into a
recorder with a mini-jack input.
Very cool.

Summary:
I want to record my cell-phone conversations to my digital voice
recorder. How can I do this?
Details:
I have a SonyEricsson T68i with GSM service via AT&T.
I have an Olympus DM-1 digital voice recorder, see
<http://www.speechtechnology.com/prodpage.cfm?URLID=421> for more
details.
I want to record my T68i conversations to my voice recorder. How can
I do this?
Fyi: I also have a bluetooth headset (a Jabra Freespeak:
<http://www.jabra.com/products/FreeSpeak_Bluetooth.htm>) that works
well with my T68i phone.
One thought: use a "modular" ear-piece adapter plugged into the T68i
(the kind that have a "mini-jack"-type output) and use a splitter on
the output jack. One goes to my ear-piece/microphone, the other goes
to the recorder (probably via a size adapter of some sort). My
concern here: I'm only going to get the voice of the person talking
to me and not my voice.
I am to do this with "standard" phones just fine by using the
following, inexpensive adapters from RadioShack:
<http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CT LG%5F001%5F001%5F017%5F004&product%5Fid=43%2D228>
<http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=43%2D 1237>
I guess I'm looking for something similar to be able to use with my
cell phone. I think I will probably have to have a "daisy-chained"
cable/wire adapter like the ones above for the modular ear-piece jack
on the T68i.
Alternative, I might be able to use my bluetooth wireless headset (a
Jabra Freespeak:
<http://www.jabra.com/products/FreeSpeak_Bluetooth.htm>) in
combination with some other recording device. One problem I'm
experiencing: I can't get the standard, cabled ear-piece to work at
the same time my bluetooth headset is connected. Anybody know how I
can get the T68i to do this? If I could, I could theoretically record
the conversation with the standard base plugin while talking over the
wireless, bluetooth headset.
Maybe there exists a bluetooth recording device(s)? Hopefully ones
that can connect while still allowing me to talk via another means
(including my bluetooth headset) at the same time?
Or I could try to do something totally different. I want to spend
less than $100. Any suggestions?
(A big motivation I have here: I'm on the AT&T GSM unlimited plan for
the next 2 years, so I can save lots of dollars by calling over my
cell instead of using a regular, land line.)
Thanks for any help!
