can't "associate" desk charger with T610???

i was using a T39m with a CDT-10 desktop charger and one of the
coolest features was the abilitly to associate the charger with a
profile in the phone (i.e. "home") so that when the phone was dropped
onto the charger, the profile would automatically switch to the
associated one. this way i was able to have a very loud ring signal
when at home but a quieter one while out.

i just got a T610 and a CDS-11 desk charger but am unable to associate
the charger with a profile. i have even tried associating the T610
with the old charger but no luck either. no desktop chargers appear in
the "add device" menu whereas they did in the T39m.

has sonyericsson discontinued this feature? anyone else encounter this
problem? anyone find a solution or workaround?
