Is there a way to remove te "start-up en shutdown" splashscreen. It keeps on
showing the stupid "Die Another Day" message. Can it be replaced with the
original SE logo ?

The "start-up en shutdown" splashscreen is original.
Only the "Die Another Day" is not original.
For so I know you can't remove the "splashscreen"
But try the next steps:
1. Settings,
2. Display,
3. User Greeting Choose off and the splashscreen will not show if you put
the phone on.
When you put the phone on it will show the splashscreen.
Dennis.

I've tried that ! I have been to a official SE service center, and my T68i
was updated with a newer firmware version. But the stupid "Die Another Day"
message keeps on showing when i switch the phone on or off.

you could trade it for just a mineral gray t68i without the james bond
extras... it does look odd now since the movie is kinda old.

Try the "12 second trick" on it. Do a full reset, and approx 12 seconds
into the reset, take the battery off. You may have to attempt it several
times, but it should temporarily remove the startup & shutdown animations.
But, doing another reset and letting it complete will restore the Bond
startups. Please note, that whilst this is not known to damage phones, you
undertake it at your own risk.
Solution, don't turn off the phone! Theres no reason to. If you don't
wanna take a call, don't answer it.
