to a long answerphone announcement that I couldn't quite understand;
so: I dialled the number again, let the message start, and hit:
Option -> 1 (Record). One recorded answerphone announcement.
When the message had finished, I stopped recording, hung up, and then
called an Italian friend. After a quick chat, I asked "By the way
Sara, can you tell me what this means?". Hit: Joystick, 4, 6, Joystick
(Play Recorded Memo). Played back the entire recording over the
phone to her, rewinding a couple of times when she asked me to.
"It means that the shop's closed due to fire damage, and they're not
sure when they'll reopen, but they're still taking orders on this
other number... " (Hit Record, get the number).
"OK! Thanks!"
Two questions: Can you do this kind of thing with any other
(non-SonyEricsson) phone? And why would anyone want any other phone,
when the T68i is still so damn *useful*? :-)
I'm trying to break up my love affair with the thing, which is now 18
months old and slowly falling apart, but I keep coming back...
