Absolutely Had It

Bought a BRAND NEW, IN THE BOX Sony Ericsson p900 (3 years ago), then went directly to IRAQ. Never used just turned on.I'd gotten it out to play around with it, but I left 2 days after I got it and just now returned! Anyway, when I got back 4 days ago, I took it out of the box, inserted a NEW SIM and BRAND NEW BATTERY and the damn thing wont turn on. Called Sony Ericsson-they WILL NOT help me.....they said, warranty no good cause I bought it all that time ago. Note here*When I first got it, I had turned it on only once just to see all the pretty colors, lol...........inserted a SIM, never made any calls cause it turned itself off all the time. So, essentially, it is doing exactly what it did back then, only now I am stuck with that knowledge, where as before I didn't really have the time to mess with it and just thought it was an operator error. Needless to say, I'm infuriated. This thing is literally BRAND SPANKING new, and there nothing I can do about it........anyone else have issues with it simply not working? BTW, if it is plugged into the wall, sometimes it works. Yes, I did get a new battery.AND a new charger, and a NEW SIM CARD. WTH? If no one can help me figure this out, then perhaps someone might be interested in purchasing it for PARTS, or TARGET PRACTICE? Grrrrrrrrr!!! lol? P.O.'d ex military nurse.
