First off this may or may not work on all phones and carriers so please, if you use this post a confirmation of whether or not it worked
All you need for this is Sony ericsson pc suite and Sony DRM Packager, ALL available on sony ericsson's website.
Step 1 Pick your mp3, trim it save it as mp3.. Easy
Step 2 Open DRM Packager, click options, configuration. Now select Forward Lock as your drm method, leave the rest.

Step 3 Add your mp3 to the list, I did this one at a time and it worked (If you try multiples on one package post if it works please)
Step 4 Click create drm content, itll create the content in a folder Called DRM, in my case this folder appeared in my music where i pulled the trimmed mp3 from.

Step 5 Open Pc Suite, connect your phone in Phone Mode, not file transfer mode
Step 6 Click Editors, Files and ensure your in the root of the phone, you should see two folders Phone memory and memory stick
Step 7 Drag your file into the white area here, don't drop it in any folder at all, itll install the files where they need to go

Step 8 Enjoy! This should unlock the file on your phone, don't delete the .fl files when your browsing or you could lock them up and again and you may lose them as usable ringtunes
This was tested and CONFIRMED on a W350A on Rogers Canada
Cheers, hopefully this brings the thread count of people seeking the help down a bit.
