usb cable battery charging

is there a way to disable the charging of the battery when the usb cable is plugged in? i thnk it will destroy my battery if im using the cable very often.. ? Re: usb cable battery charging Hi mate Try typing these keys (when in standby screen) in this particular order * , --> , * , <-- , <-- , * , <--, * Then you choose service settings and it should offer you disabling the charging trough USB. Hope it helps

Re: usb cable battery charging My old W600i was always connected to the USB cable at work. After 2.5 years, it still holds a charge just fine.With the new lithium batteries, you don't have to worry about it.
