USB charging and battery life

Posted: 05-23-2006, 12:29 PM
When i connect my D750i to PC using original cable, the
battery is starting to charge. I will connect my phone
for a short time very often. How is it going to affect the battery life?
Is there a possibility to turn off the battery charging option when using
original USB cable? How about the cables without the "electric" pins?

TIA

kisses

Its possible to disable usb charging at least on the k800i

maybe your phone has the same options????

>*<<*<*

then choose Service Settings

this gives you the option to Disable usb charging

regarding battery life, the li polymer batteries are much more robust than li ion; but personally i try to run my battery quite low before i recharge.
