USB charging and battery life
Posts: n/a battery is starting to charge. I will connect my phone for a short time very often. How is it going to affect the battery life? Is there a possibility to turn off the battery charging option when using original USB cable? How about the cables without the "electric" pins? Re: USB charging and battery life Its possible to disable usb charging at least on the k800imaybe your phone has the same options???? >*<<*<* then choose Service Settings this gives you the option to Disable usb charging regarding battery life, the li polymer batteries are much more robust than li ion; but personally i try to run my battery quite low before i recharge.

Re: USB charging and battery life yes the newer models have the option to have charging turned off.. it's a great function though becaue the new lithium poly batteries.. like to be topped up when you can.. like an ipod
