K750i MMS

Can anyone shed any light on this little curio?
I have had a K750i on the O2 UK network for the last month or so, and have
noticed that when I receive MMS messages (in particular the amusing ones
that are sent by O2 2-3 times a week) do not display properly.
When a messge is received, I select 'View' and the first page displays
correctly. If I then either let the message proceed to the next frame, or
select it myself, I am presented with 2 filenames, typically 'gif_2' and
'txt_2'- clearly these represent the contents of the frame. Indeed, I can
save the files and view them later in file manager...
Why isn't the message displaying right? All ideas gratefully received!
