SE P990i, Q1 2006.. anything more accurate?

This thread is old, but I will answer it anyway.

As for now, the P990 was delayed to Q2 2006
I don't know if it will be worth the wait though.
I was waiting for it myself, and was about to spend my money on it o
it's release, but now that it was delayed... I won't pay even 1/2 pric
on it.
It will be old tech when it gets out, look at all the phones no
released and will be released on summer 2006.
SE say that the release was delayed so they can add more features lik
extensive support for push mail, anti-virus and business card scanner.
All this features look like software upgrades and as such SE shoul
release the phone and let people to upgrade it.

LOL, I won't wait for a phone that have no advanteges except busines
card scanner... it looks like a nice gimmic and nothing more (for me a
least).
Don't forget that this phone is not backward compatible, P91
applications will run on it.
True enough, applications will be available for it soon enough, bu
again, release date (estimated) of June 2006... its too late

The P990 won't even support HDSPA. There goes the intention for th
P990 to be the leading phone on the market
