Video playback on K750i

player can't play mp4/3gp files larger than Qcif. In other words the video
does not use the full resolution of the K750i's larger screen. Sony have not
upgraded the hardware(?) video decoder in the phone.
There may be a workaround. If it's possible to write an application on this
phone that can display a larger resolution video using software decoding it
may be possible to then view videos larger than Qcif. I'm guessing here but
I think the K750i judging from benchmarks has just enough CPU speed to do
this. I gave up programming aeons ago so such a task is beyond me. I just
hope some clever hacker has already thought of this workaround and starting
porting a third party video player to the K750i.
