S700i text message

It seems when I move into a poor coverage area on O2 (i.e. where I
live!) the text messages queue as expected, but then are not delivered
until I switch the phone off and on again.

Sounds like a polling bug in the phones software to me?

Does this happen with other providers?

(I have set up a S700i email group to put thoughts together, you are
welcome to join)
