Phone Lock Code not as it says in manual

Hi there everyone. I got a sony ericsson t610
Ive been looking in the manual because i need to reset the factory settings.
The reason for this is because my phone had a major crash and i lost my
pictures all my themes music dj everything apart from contacts and txt
messages.

Now i want to reset the phone because its working correctly. I cant hear the
ringtone noise or text message noise because even all of the standard images
and ringtones have been wiped. SOmething serious happened to this phone and
now i need to reset it.

Ive looked in my manual for the code and it says its 0000
Ive tried this and its saying that the code is not right

Does anyone know how i can reset it by gettin the right code.
