K700i graphics

i have a k700i (vodafone) i have noticed the menu graphics are not the same
as those advertised, is this because its a vodafone model, and can i upgrade
the graphics?
also i have a data cable but cannot seem to upload MP3's for use as
ringtones, the connection is good as i have managed to upload images etc,
what would be the best program (windows XP) to crop and send mp3's to the
K700i.
