Upgrading Firmware T610
Posts: n/a went to the Carphone Warehouse a few weeks ago and the engineer said it woud be ready in 6 hours, i think there were technical problems with upgrading but this seemed an awfully long time so I didn't get it done. Is it? Thanks in advance.  Responses to "Upgrading Firmware T610"

Is it? It takes between 5 and 20 minutes depending on just what needs flashing and what equipment is used. Depending on how busy the "engineer" is, 6 hours ranges from not bad, to way too long - take your pick. Last edited by ankurmva : 10-24-2008 at 02:21 PM.

Came back with same F/W it went in with which apparently is the first version. Went next morning and it only took about 20 minutes for them to download and flash it. I'm guessing they couldn't be bothered to connect a cable to my phone and flash it, thinking I wouldn't know or care about the difference, and that they could go home early or something.
