640x480. The extended mode (with 1280x960) is just an interpolated
image, so it's not really that resolution.

Yes correct.
Resolution is CCD is 1.3M pixes.
I would say the major draw back is the 32M+ FIX memory size. You cannot use
any "external" storage media with this camera.

It's 41M+ actually. I reckon that's enough 640x480 images for me
though.. it's a phone with a camera in it.. not a camera with a phone in
it. But you can wait for the S700

Yes, this is why I say 32M+.
If you take movie, use mp3 and take photo. This memory size is harly enough
especially when you are traveling.
s700 price is out of reach. Try some newly released phone recently (that
have memory card removeable). They are in the same price range as K700i.

IMO, the S700 will be out of date by the time it's launched. I prefer
the idea of 2MP with OPTICAL zoom & a decent flash. It's a pity the K700
doesn't have external memory. I'll stick with my T610 despite having the
worst camera of virtually any phone but downloaded pics look a lot
better.

And what does your amateur schoolboy (with most of it swiped from elsewhere)
site have to do with Ericsson phones? You've been posting this spam on and
off for quite a while now, so I reckon you're overdue for an abuse report to usenet-abuse@t-online.de
