T28 just DIED :(

It has been with me for 3 years already. never had problems. then a
couple of weeks back, it just resets itself from time to time. On few
occations, it never did reset but just turned off. Battery level
always on the 'Green'. Then I decided to take it apart and clean it..
thinking it was just a moisture/humidity issue. I've researched the
newsgroups and followed almost all of the 'tips' to revive it. From
placing a metal against the 5 metal 'pegs' behind the phone to
removing one of the resistors beside the PA amp. I'm totally screwed
with this phone. Its just sad to face the reality of the bad sides
i've seen about this wonderful, tiny, feature packed, great looking
phone.. but i guess I have to just let it go..

any more ideas on 'reviving' this phone. Btw, could its internal
battery have something to do with unable to power it ON?

my T28 went same way, service centre charged me £15 to tell me Ericsson
wanted £75 to repair it. Needles to say it now resides in my antique mobile
box of rubbish.
