I synch my T610 with Outlook so that all the numbers on my phone are stored
in the following format:
+(Country Code)(Area Code)(Number)
When I try calling by retrieving a number from my phonebook, I get a voice
prompt from my network that the format is incorrect. My network's customer
service suggested that only way around this would be it edit my entire
address book to remove the +(Country Code) part of all local numbers and to
add 00(Country Code) to international numbers.
Rather than do this, is there anyway to have the T610 drop the +(Country
Code) prefix when I call local numbers and to translate it to 00(Country
Code) when I call international numbers? To my knowledge, this is how any
GSM network should operate.
