P900 - EBay deal...

Posted: 01-30-2004, 11:05 PM
I've had my T610 for about 4 months when an unexpected accident happened and I
now know how much it doesn't like water. Since T-Mobile just upgraded my phone to
the T610, I can't get anything cheap like so I'm stuck with my old T300. Here's where
my question comes in. I was browsing around on ebay just for the hell of it and I searched
for p900 and got quite a few results (for about 15 or 30 bucks) that will send you an ebook
or a website that tells you how to get a p900 for about 40 bucks. Has anyone else seen
this or heard of how it works? or if it works at all? the auctions make it sound like a guaruntee..
Thanks for the information in advance.

It's simple: they take your $40, and you get nothing.

Unsurprisngly.

Think about it...

Do you really think you could get a P900 for $40 when the retail would
be well over $500?

If you believe you can, then go for the auction. But don't come back
whinging!

IIRC, the auctions give you an email that tells how to register with
various companies as a reseller, and you then ask to get demo stock to
put on your shelves or something similar. It won't work, and you'll be
down whatever you bid for the item.

That all sounds too suspect for me. I'd rather check the auctions for REAL
phones, not auctions to links and all this other nonsense stuff.

The thing I dont get is that you have to pay for the auction just to get the
info, then pay for the link and you might get it. After all of that, you're
better off getting a REAL phone on another auction.

Why don't you help a Nigerian get $50M out of the country and take your
percentage then you can buy all the P900s you can eat?

If they could really get P900s for 15 or 30 bucks, they would be selling
P900s on ebay for a huge profit instead of trying to sell you this
information.

If this information really worked, lots of people would be buying
P900s for 15 or 30 bucks and the prices for P900s on
ebay would start going down.

Think, man. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
