memory stick

hi
everytime i try to format my duo card my p800 keeps saying that the disk is
corrupt
i cant even access the card from the pc as it only picks up the phone memory
i have been told that maybe the p800's connection to the card on circuit
board needs to be re-soldered?
any help please

manufacturer fault or card fault a bit mad to be honest
