You use it to replace the rubber plug that covers some sort of antenna port
(I think) on the back of the unit, and you can see your own reflection in
it to take your own picture.

That was the only place that we could see it going! but he's a 'wuss' and
"didnt want to break anything...' so wanted to be sure first!!

This is for self protrait pictures. Simply remove the battery cover and the
circular rubber bung towards the right of the camera, and pop the mirror in
place.

Here's an interesting question. What does that rubber bung cover in the
first place?? Antenna jack, maybe?
