appllications of P800 can't be activated with the 'wheel'

Hi ericson users,

I just bought or better went on a contract with a P800. From day one I
noticed that when the flip is closed I cannot activate the
applications with the wheel. For some reason this happend to me on a
intermittend bases. Sometimes it can be solved by a switching on/ off
the phone, however not always.

Finally the handset was replaced (because within the 12 days) after a
long discussion in the shop I bought the phone. (Carphone warehouse)

I don't know if this is a hardware of software fault (I hope hardware)
but the senior shop manager essential explained to me 'it's a
computer, which crashes and I can't bring back a computer because it
crashes'.
Very unique argumentation to me, I thought I bought a phone. It
implais I have to accept that new cars a brake down because it's a car
and why are you silly customer complaining !!.

I'm looking forward to see what happend with the new handset. Please
let me know if asnyone else has made the same expirience.
