How to install patch ?

Hi I have a .vkp file (patch) and I am using XS++ 3.1. It doesnt support the patch file (Button is still disabled even after I select patch file). I use a K550 and I can able to connect it with my XS++.

Any Idea ? or how can I install a patch ? any other software ?
