Securing Files and Folders!

Ok im not sure if this will work on the w810i but it sure does on my w800i, you will need a File Manager i surgest MobyExplorer which is posted alover this forum, then what you do is start it up and browser to /Pictures/Camera_semc/100MSDCF and once your inside this folder, you make a new dir meaning a new folder, and because certain file structures of Sony Ericsson mobiles cannot be changed this folder will not appear while browsing through the phone although is will be visable via PC, now you can use MobyExplorer to copy and paste any file in your phone to this new dir you just created and it wont be visable, and when you want to retrive it you just copy and paste it somewhere else simple and effective, but as i say thats how you hide files on older models like w800i is but i dont know if anyone has tried doing this trick on the w810i so i cannot garrenty it will work but give it a shot it should in theory work as its just an updated w800i

You did a great favour to me bro!!! It was the one problems why i was regretting buying a w810i.... u know mobile is not a personal thing here in Pakistan... its a public thing... specially in the family.....

One more thing... if u can tell me how i can stop those permission messages in the moby explorer..... to read and write data.... i have checked the permission menu... i don't have a the option of never ask in my read and write data!!!!!

You need signed version mate, there is a signed v2.1 posted here though that will stop you getting them read write prompts, if your only using your phone and dont have a PC you'll need MobileRAR or jZipMan to extract the files, plus the signed certificate for v2.1 has expired so to install it you'll need to change the date in your phone to anything between 30 march 2006 and 30 march 2007, but once its installed you can change it back lol PS: you need to install signed applications via the JAD file.
But if you hold on a day or 2 ill upload it to this thread for you, and ill also change the name of v3.0 so you can have them both installed at the same time as i have as v3.0 is technicly better but v2.1 is signed lol but anyway ill upload them both for you so they can both be installed at the same time just in case

here you go man, both of these mobyexplorers will install at the same time v2.1 is signed and to install it you need to change the date in your phone to anything between 30 march 2006 and 30 march 2007 and install via the jad file, iv canged the name of v3 to mobyexplorer v3.0 so you can have them both installed at the same time.

thanks for the softwares man!!!! i downloaded them both but still it doesn't solve my problem.... like i am still getting those read and write messages and I still got a option in my permissions menu.... to never ask...... what should i do.....
