Ciao!
Anyone know if it is possible in any way connecting to a network with a password that has a lenght longer or shorter than the default 5 characters that at the moment seems to be some kind of limit with the N95...
Both at home and at my office we have WLAN, 64/40 bits WEP keys, ASCII. At home my password is 11 characters long, at the office 6 characters.
In the phone, when trying to connect to the networks, it's impossible to enter the wep key. After 5 characters the "OK" button appears, but when adding the final 6th character it's not anymore present. It's simply not possible to enter the string.
This has to be a bug in the firmware, since there is no length restriction on passwords in neither of the routers, and I've in fact never used a router that had some kind of restriction.
How many characters are you using on your routers, and can you connect to the network with your symbian phones?
Thanks in advance,
