6310i as modem using USB BT dongle

using a genuine Nokia cable but always have trouble with
connecting/dissconnecting all the time which I put down to dodgy connectors
on the phone and/or cable.
So, would any USB Bt dongle work to connect the phone to laptop and use the
modem within the phone?
Im using o2's Connection Manager software to connect at the moment and that
gives the option of cable/bt/Ir etc.
Any reccomendations on what BT dongle to get, preferebly from a high street
shop rather than online.
