Nokia 6230 Piece of Junk

Nokia 6230 phones seem unreliable and Nokia's response sucks

A warning to all... After owning a bunch of very reliable Nokia phones
earlier, I bought a 6230. Great features, but the quality sucks. The
first phone devloped a bad display (green pixels) & was replaced. On
the second phone, the regular speaker buzzed and distorted speech. I
sent it in for repair. They returned it unrepaired. I waited until it
got even worse (used my bluetooth headset mostly).

I sent it in, the third time I've sent in a repair in 1 year, and they
received it on 2 March. They say in their policy that repair time
should be 10-15 business days. I wrote them, asking them, after 4
weeks, to either repair the phone immediately or send me a new one.
They refused.
Here is the mail I received, which just says, "tough luck, buddy."

I warned them I would be posting to alt.cellular.nokia- now let them
show up in usenet searches. Guess I'll be using my Motorola phone
permanently now. Sheesh- what a way to lose customers.
