POP Port Extension

Posted: 10-22-2005, 04:35 PM
Hi,

I was wondering if there is a cable that could be used to "extend" my POP
Port on my phone.

When using the "Nokia Music Stand DT-1" with older POP Port enabled phones
it's great but my 6680 and newer phones just wont fit in the available slot
space.

I understand that there is a newer version of the stand available, namely
the "Nokia Music Stand MD-1" that would solve this matter but it doesn't
look anywhere near as nice as the DT-1.

Any ideas?

How do you think the DT-1 is going to look with a cable coming from it
with your 6680 connected laying on the desk?

This might suit your purposes:

Simon,

Thanks for the reply.

I think it the DT-1 would look just fine laying next to my 6680 and the
money I have saved stacked on the other side.

The links are great but not relevant. That adapter only seems to allow a
2.5mm Jack to be used with the phone. The extension I am looking for is of
a male to female sort. There is an line in on the DT-1 but I am not sure if
this method would work and also wanted to make use of all of the units
available features.
