Nokia PC Suite and 6230

Hi there,

I'm using version 6.6.16 of Nokia PC Suite with a 6230. When I try and
read contacts from the phone through Phone Browser or Sync them (both
via Bluetooth), all the Messages copy to the PC fine. But I only get
two contacts copying over - in fact when I access the Phone through
Phone Browser it will only see these same two contacts. I've tried it
on another PC and, again, exactly the same two contacts copy over. I
have plenty of contacts on both the phone and the SIM, so can't see it
would be anything to do with how that is set up.

Any ideas as to why I can't copy the rest of the contacts gratefully
received!

In addition I believe you can only backup contacts that are on your phone,
NOT your sim - unless someone knows different!

I had this problem, I solved it by (via bluetooth): backing up all my phone
contacts to PC Suite. Deleting them off my phone. Then install the backup on
my phone. No problem since. I am using the .18 version of PC Suite.

You can backup, restore and manager SIM card contacts with Oxygen Phone
