MMC and Nokia 6230i...can I put applications on MMC?

the MMC card rather than the Nokia's inbuilt memory. Additionally,
although I have 21MB free in the mobile, It looks like I can't have
more than 1MB of applications in it. Is that the limit?
I planned to get a 1GB (or possibly 2GB) MMC card so I could carry all
my applications and a fair share of videos and MP3s, but it seems this
isn't possible now (still can carry videos and MP3s now, of course)
Can anyone shed some light on this?
