I've just joined the group with a view to hopelully getting some help
in getting the nokia pc suite 4 to connect to a 6310i.
I have a Billionton bluetooth USB adapter( dongle) in which the phone
can see the pc and visa versa ie the software works!
NOW when I launch Nokia pc suite 4 it can't connect or find the phone.
I have checked the comm ports are correct in both programs
Any ideas?????

In newer versions of PC Suite, you have to use the Connection Manager in
order for the software to 'see' the phone. Check to documentation to see if
this needs to be done beforehand in your case.
