soft for nokia 3220

Posted: 03-15-2005, 11:16 AM
hello

I would find the command to use my phone (bookmark and planner)

ex :
'ATE0' for intialising phone
'ATI' for identify phone model

i have tested mobileagent, but is not compatible with my 3220, i would write my
application, because i would not work with outlook or lotus (planner)

Excuse for my poor english but if anyone speak french

Thk
David

You can try Oxygen Phone Manager II ( http://www.opm-2.com/ ). You can store
calendar and to-do list events in our program locally or transfer these data
between our software and MS Outlook, Lotus Notes and CSV.

You can download the latest trial here:
http://www.opm-2.com/download/opm2.zip

If you have any questions and/or suggestions, concerning our
program, feel free to post them on our official forum
http://www.opm-2.com/forum/

This cable is not DKU-5. Therefore, you should set virtual COM port directly
in our program. Open 'Tools' -> 'Options' -> 'Connection and common' ->
'Connection' . Make sure, DKU-5/CA-42 cable is not selected. Press 'Add
port' button and select virtual COM port, created by cable's drivers.
Right-click once on 'DAU-9p/F-Bus' sign and select 'DLR-3/DLR-3p' option.
Press 'Ok' to confirm settings.

PS: cable connection should be turned off in Nokia Connection Manager and in
Handset Manager. One may need to uninstall Handset Manager completely, as it
may occupy the whole cable connection.

If you have any questions and/or suggestions, concerning our
program, feel free to post them on our official forum

Have you uninstalled Handset Manager? Also make sure, that cable connection
is turned off in Nokia connection manager.

PS: make sure, you are using the latest version 2.7.5.1. You can download

David, I had a similar problem installing the driver software on MA-8620E
Try this and see if it works

for "handset manager" (cable is MA-8620E) = DLR-3 or DLR-3p for Oxygen trial

1, uninstall ALL driver programs for your USB cable
2, uninstall ALL software manager programs for your 3220
3, take out USB plug from computer
4, turn off computer and turn on again

5, (do not plug cable in yet) install driver program for 3220 USB cable
for "handset manager" (cable is MA-8620E)
6, plug in USB cable with phone attached(should get a response on phone
saying connected or something)
7, run "handset manager" software wait 2 to 3 minutes for progam to
recognise phone.

If you used oxygen software you should see oxygen connection wizard in
programs.
5, do NOT plug in cable for Oxygen yet ( if you did by mistake, uninstall
everything and start from number 1 again.)
5.1, run Oxygen Connection Wizard
5.2, select "Data cable" option and click next
5.3, now select cable option DLR-3 or DLR-3p(do not connect cable yet for
oxygen software or you'll have to start from 1 again) and click next
6, NOW connect cable with phone attached when program asks you, and click
"connect"
7, run Oxygen Software and wait 2-3 minutes for recognition of phone

If that did not work, start from 1 again and repeat.

Hope that helps you

regards ~Ree
