contacts not showing up in pc suite

hi guy's

just sync'ed my 6820 to outlook express -realised after this was a big
mistake as I now have hundreds of email addresses on my phone.

I thought I could just open the contacts folder delete them and resync.
Alas there are no contacts in the contacts folder on the pc

where am I going wrong??

any ideas?
