Screen goes blank on SMS

my Nokia 6230's screen goes of and return a few seconds later when I
receive a SMS. This does not happen everytime and only about 1 out of every
30. I have already changed my previous 6230 to this one because of this
problem. Now the new one also does it.
Any ideas as to what can cause it and I am the only one with this problem?
