7250i help - 2 things

Hi,

I recently bought a second hand 7250i and after giving the phone
thorough inspection 2 things annoy me about it.

1 is when i receive a text message the tone kind of gets stuck? an
makes a weird beep. On my 7210 it would do that occasionally but ver
rare but on the 7250i it does it every time. Is that normal or is ther
something wrong with the phone?

and 2 is again with texting, but when writing, I noticed that if i pu
in the letter U it puts it with the umlauts over the top like it's in
different language yet if type it in as a word like You it will do i
normal, if i use the predictive text and type in You it does it normal
again on predictive text if I press number 8 and it brings up T and
scroll to get to U it does it with umlauts again, it's very strange an
annoying lol is there any way to fix this as I can't seem to se
anything?

Has anyone else had these problems?
