is it possible to format an mmc that was passworded in a nokia phone?

formatted the 7610 i have, and i didnt know the previous owner had a
password set, destroying the cache of the password
ive found that nothing from within the phone, or from a card reader will do
anything to the card... ive tried winhex and various formatting tools...

anyone have a solution?
