battery life

I have just gotten at 6230 and am thinking of geting a one GIG memory
card for mp3's. Does anyone know the life of the battery...i.e. if I
play contstant music and have about 5-6 short calls....I've heard
rumours of anything for 1-3 hours....

I know that the phone itself cant format 1 gig be carefull
