6230 - CSS rendering off?

Hi,
just wondering if anyone knows how to turn off the browser's download and
rendering of CSS on pages that use it, i.e. to be text-only, which would be
heaps better on most pages with the small screen, and save a lot on
downloads.

Also, I'm thinking of purchasing Webviewer (which does what I want), but
anyone know any alternatives, free or cheaper/better?
