Transfer speeds of DKU, Bluetooth, and IrDa

Posted: 07-14-2004, 09:23 PM
Hi,

I have a Nokia 6230 and want to transfer large amounts of data to the
phone.

So, does anybody know what the transfer speeds of a DKU-2 cable is?
How about Bluetooth and IrDa?

I know that a proper card-reader is very fast, but I'd prefer not to
take the MMC card out of the phone if possible.

Many thanks,

Tung

Bluetooth is in the order of 700 kbits/second, DKU is close to the USB
maximum of 12 Mbits/second. If you want to upload MP3 files, DKU is your
best option!

If you want to upload MP3 files, an USB2 MMC card reader is your best
option!

How do you mount the MMC drive? What is the partition table type?
When I plug it in, it's simply not recognised.

If the phone has already formated the card then it should just show up as a
extra drive when you plug it into your card reader. If the phone hasn't
then let it format the card, so it can use it, then it will be
recognised....

Simple really, isn't it...
