Nokia 6600: Lights cycling when on charge?

Anyone noticed theyr nokia 6600 constantly going in and out of lights off
mode while on charge? Seems to only happen sometimes .. the lights just
come on randomly for no reason, wait the normal timeout time, then go off
agian .. repeat .. hardly critical, but a bit weird ..

Ive noticed something similar...bought a car charger from a service
station which has a green light which goes red when the phone is
plugged in....when using the phone, even just navigating around the
menus the light flashes between green and red but settles back to red
if I leave the phone alone.

Also bought a dual desktop charger for it so i can charge my spare
battery and this also has a green/red light feature and this too does
the same thing when the phone is on charge and i use it!

How odd!!

Yep, mine seems to do it when the battery is nearly full - as if the phone
wants to tell me it's full, but at last minute decides better and shuts up
