Nokia Ringtone Format?

polyphonic --- midi files

monophonic --- txt files work if they are in the RTTL format

having said that, from memory I have been able to get midi's to work as
monophonic on my 6510 and 8310 via the data suite.

what kinda phone do you have and what software are you using to load the
tone to the phone ?

The Polys are
SP-Midis
Monos are RTTL

Polyphonic=SP-MIDI ie Scalable Polyphonic MIDI
Monophonic=RTTTL.
